How to Play a Crystal Singing Bowl

Rimming Technique

Place your singing bowl on its O-ring stand on a stable surface. Hold the suede mallet like a pen, press it firmly against the outer rim, and move it in a slow, steady clockwise circle. Maintain consistent pressure and speed. After one or two rotations, the bowl will begin to sing -- a rich, sustained tone that grows in volume as you continue. Striking Technique
